Former India captain and current Rajasthan Royals coach Rahul Dravid was involved in a minor accident with a goods auto in Bengaluru on Tuesday evening. A video recorded by a bystander captured Dravid arguing with the driver in Kannada, a rare sight given his usually composed demeanor. Both individuals appeared unharmed.
According to IANS, the incident occurred on Cunningham Road when the auto reportedly rear-ended Dravid’s car while it was stationary in traffic. Dravid, who was believed to be heading toward High Ground, stepped out to inspect the damage and confronted the driver.
In the footage, Dravid was seen visibly upset, an unusual departure from his calm persona. Reports suggest he noted down the driver’s contact details before departing. No official complaint was lodged, and police sources  indicated that the matter was likely resolved on the spot.
Dravid is currently in Bengaluru before resuming his Indian Premier League duties with Rajasthan Royals. Meanwhile, the incident sparked a wave of internet memes, with fans humorously referencing his viral advertisement where he calls himself “Indiranagar ka gunda.”
