PM Modi Greets Nation on Chhath Festival, Celebrates Nature and Culture
New Delhi: On the occasion of Chhath, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm wishes to the nation, emphasizing the vibrant reflection of nature and culture that the four-day rituals of the ‘Mahaparva Chhath’ festival offer. He noted how this celebration inspires a renewed sense of energy and enthusiasm in the people.
Chhath, a revered Hindu festival, is mainly observed in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The festival is dedicated to the worship of the Sun God and involves fasting, holy bathing, and prayers.
