Blast at Ordnance Factory in Maharashtra’s Bhandara District Claims One Life, Rescue Operations Ongoing
A deadly blast rocked the ordnance factory in Jawahar Nagar, Bhandara district, Maharashtra, this morning, claiming one life and leaving several others trapped.
Emergency teams, including firefighters and medical personnel, were quickly deployed to the scene. The explosion resulted in the roof of the factory collapsing, prompting earthmovers to clear the rubble.
As of now, 14 individuals have been rescued, confirmed Bhandara district collector Sanjay Kolte.
In response to the tragic incident, Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole criticized the Modi administration, calling the explosion a sign of government failure.
