The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced on Thursday that services on the Blue Line would be disrupted due to a cable theft incident between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar stations.

In a statement, DMRC clarified that the issue would only be resolved after operational hours, leading to slower train speeds and delays throughout the day.

Commuters traveling on the Blue Line, which connects Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida City Centre and Vaishali, are advised to factor in extra travel time, as the slower services are expected to impact a significant number of passengers.

The DMRC apologized for the inconvenience and reassured passengers that normal service would resume by the following morning.
