After the Andhra Pradesh government approved a ticket price increase for Pushpa 2: The Rule, actor Allu Arjun expressed his sincere appreciation to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for their backing.

Record-Breaking Ticket Prices for a Telugu Film
As reported by India Today, Pushpa 2 will feature the highest-ever ticket prices for a Telugu film. Paid preview screenings are scheduled for December 4 at 9:30 pm in select theatres, with tickets priced at ₹944 (including GST) for both single screens and multiplexes.
The Andhra Pradesh government has also approved six screenings per day for the film at single screens and multiplexes, with ticket prices set at ₹324.50 and ₹413, respectively. Additionally, from December 6 to 17, five daily screenings will be allowed, maintaining these ticket prices.
Meanwhile, in Telangana, ticket prices for Pushpa 2 were also increased, with preview tickets priced at ₹1,200, ₹531 for multiplexes, and ₹354 for single screens. A petition against this hike has been filed in the Telangana High Court, with a hearing scheduled on December 3, one day before the film’s premiere.
About the Film
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, Pushpa 2 stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, respectively. Allu Arjun’s performance in the first film earned him a National Film Award. The film’s storyline revolves around power struggles within the red sandalwood smuggling network, and the sequel is set for release on December 5.
