Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s Wedding Details

When: According to sources reported by Hindustan Times, the wedding is scheduled for December 4. While the exact time of the ceremony remains undisclosed, it is confirmed that the auspicious timing (muhurtham) has been set. Details on whether the wedding will take place in the morning or evening have yet to be revealed.

Where: After speculation regarding a potential destination wedding in Rajasthan or abroad, it’s now confirmed that the couple will wed at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. This choice honors Chaitanya’s family legacy and keeps the wedding rooted in tradition.

What: After a private engagement and a traditional turmeric ceremony (godhuma raayi pasupu danchadam) held in Sobhita’s hometown of Visakhapatnam, their wedding will follow the rituals of a traditional Telugu ceremony. Among the anticipated customs, guests can look forward to the jeelakarra bellam ritual, where the couple will apply a cumin-jaggery paste to each other’s heads.

Who: Keeping their wedding intimate, the couple plans a low-key event, similar to their previous celebrations. The guest list will be limited to close family members from both Sobhita’s family and the Akkineni and Daggubati families, along with their nearest friends.

Their Love Story

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have kept their relationship private, beginning their romance in 2022 before confirming their engagement in 2024. Their first public appearance together was at the ANR Awards, where they were seen alongside luminaries like Amitabh Bachchan.

Reflecting on their upcoming marriage, Chaitanya shared in August, “Marriage is about the people who matter to me. It doesn’t need to be an extravagant affair, but it should honor our traditions.” Sobhita echoed this in September, expressing her desire to celebrate their union in a way that deeply honors Telugu traditions and her connection to family.
