Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s historical drama Chhaava has emerged as Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster of 2025. The film has been dominating the box office and is on the verge of surpassing the ₹200 crore mark in India within just a week of its release.
On Wednesday, Chhaava witnessed a significant surge in collections, raking in ₹32 crore, largely due to the Shivaji Jayanti holiday. This boost pushed its total domestic earnings to ₹197.75 crore in just six days.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film’s total gross collection in India stands at ₹198.85 crore, while its overseas earnings have reached ₹30 crore. With a worldwide total of ₹228.85 crore, Chhaava has officially crossed the ₹200-crore milestone globally.
The film is now Vicky Kaushal’s second-highest-grossing movie, trailing Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019). However, if its momentum continues, Chhaava could soon surpass Uri to become the biggest hit of his career.
