Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had a stellar first week at the box office, maintaining its strong momentum after a record-breaking opening weekend during Diwali. Despite fierce competition from the star-studded Singham Again, the horror-comedy film earned ₹158.25 crore by Day 7.

According to early estimates, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earned ₹9.50 crore on Thursday, marking only an 11% drop from Wednesday’s earnings. This brings the film’s total net collection in India to ₹158.25 crore, making it Kartik Aaryan’s quickest film to cross the ₹150 crore milestone. Given its current pace, the film is expected to surpass the ₹200 crore mark in its second week.

The film has broken several records, surpassing the lifetime earnings of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in just six days. Released on November 1, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 grossed ₹158.25 crore in its opening week, surpassing the lifetime collections of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar (₹149.05 crore) and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani (₹153.60 crore).

As the third installment of the popular horror-comedy series, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 sees Vidya Balan returning to her iconic role as Manjulika after 17 years. The film introduces fresh faces, including Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri, adding new energy to the eerie yet humorous narrative. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film revisits the haunted mansion, skillfully blending horror with comedy. Kartik Aaryan delivers a standout performance as Rooh Baba, supported by an ensemble cast that includes Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra, and Ashwini Kalsekar, all of whom have resonated strongly with audiences.
