Actor Anushka Shetty has unveiled an intriguing first look from her upcoming film Ghaati, which was shared on her birthday, November 7. This marks her second collaboration with director Krish Jagarlamudi, following their successful 2010 project Vedam.

The striking first look, posted by UV Creations on X (formerly Twitter), presents Anushka in a powerful, intense persona. In the image, she appears with blood dripping from her head and hands, staring fiercely at the camera while smoking a marijuana roll, her eyes filled with emotion. The only other details in the poster are two nose rings, bangles, and a bindi, adding a distinctive flair to her character. The image teases a gripping narrative and suggests the film will explore the harsh realities of the protagonist’s life.

Fans have been quick to respond to Anushka’s compelling look, with many praising the strength and intensity of the poster. One fan wrote, “Dinamma rey… mass overloaded,” while another added, “Sweety in mass avatar.” Others described it as “intense” and “interesting,” with one fan even linking it to her iconic Baahubali character, Devasena, saying, “Devasena is back, poster adiripoyendi (Devasena is back, the poster is so good).” Anushka was also referred to as “the real lady superstar” by an excited follower.

Ghaati, produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi, is Anushka’s fourth project with UV Creations and is described as a “high-octane, action-packed” film. The music is composed by Nagavelli Vidya Sagar, with cinematography by Manoj Reddy Katasani and art direction by Thota Tharani. Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues. While the release date has yet to be revealed, the film will be available in multiple South Indian languages and Hindi.
