Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s Amaran is making waves at the box office, swiftly becoming a major hit. The biographical film, based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, is set to cross the ₹200-crore milestone soon. Despite experiencing a slight dip in box office earnings on Monday, November 4, the film continued to perform well, maintaining double-digit revenue.

Released on October 31 across multiple languages, Amaran has been praised by both critics and viewers alike for its gripping storytelling and powerful performances. During its first four days, the film earned over ₹150 crore worldwide. On its opening Monday, it garnered ₹10.25 crore nett in India, a clear indication of its lasting appeal.

In just its first five days, Amaran accumulated ₹93.35 crore nett in India, with projections showing it will surpass ₹100 crore on November 5. The Tamil version alone saw an occupancy rate of 48.59% on November 4, further cementing its popularity.

The film, which adapts a chapter from India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, depicts a real-life mission led by Major Mukund Varadarajan. Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India, the biopic boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, and others. With its powerful narrative and stellar performances, Amaran continues to captivate audiences, making a lasting impact on the box office and beyond.
