Ajay Devgn Opens Up About Eye Injury While Filming Singham Again on Bigg Boss 18

Actor Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty made a special appearance on the latest episode of Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan, to promote their much-anticipated film Singham Again. During the episode, Ajay candidly spoke about a serious eye injury he sustained while filming an action sequence for the movie.

Ajay’s Injury on the Sets of Singham Again

Ajay, dressed in a sleek black shirt paired with a leather jacket, trousers, and dark sunglasses, opened up about the incident. Salman Khan, who shares a close bond with Ajay, brought up the injury, asking, “Did the eye injury happen during this film?” Rohit Shetty confirmed, “Yes, it happened while filming Singham Again.”

Salman elaborated, sharing, “Ajay showed me the shot where the injury occurred. There was a mistiming during an action sequence—someone was supposed to hit him with a stick, but the timing went off, and it struck him directly in the eye.”

Ajay Reflects on the Ordeal

Ajay revealed the severity of the injury, saying, “I lost my vision for about two to three months and even had to undergo a minor surgery.” Salman addressed the audience, adding, “When you perform action scenes, these risks are part of the job.”

Ajay further reflected on how far filmmaking techniques have come, remarking, “Nowadays, it’s much easier for actors with the use of cables, CGI, and advanced safety measures. Back in the day, we had to execute action scenes without any of these aids, which made them more dangerous.”
