UP Police Constable Exam 2024 Results Released: Over 1.7 Lakh Candidates Advancing to Next Stages
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially declared the results of the UP Police Constable recruitment exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official website, uppbpb.gov.in, where a direct link to access the results is provided .
With the written exam results now out, the next stages of the recruitment process include the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV). The UPPRPB will soon release the schedules for these upcoming stages along with admit cards for eligible candidates.
This year, an impressive 48,17,441 candidates registered for the exam, including 15 lakh female candidates. Around 34.6 lakh candidates participated in the written exam, which was conducted in two phases: from August 23-25 and August 30-31.
The ongoing recruitment drive is aimed at filling 60,244 constable vacancies within the Uttar Pradesh Police. Of these, 12,049 positions (20%) are reserved for female candidates, and the remaining 48,195 positions are allocated for male candidates.
On October 30, the UPPRPB released the final answer key, which was available for download until November 9. The board addressed 70 objections raised by candidates regarding questions with multiple correct answers and other discrepancies. Candidates who selected any of the correct options for questions with multiple correct answers were awarded full marks, and full marks were also granted for questions that were incorrectly framed.
