The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially launched the website for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025, signaling the commencement of preparations for one of India’s most prestigious entrance exams. The official portal, jeemain.nta.nic.in, will soon feature key details such as exam dates and online application notifications. Additionally, the NTA has issued specific guidelines regarding the conduct of written exams for candidates with disabilities (PwBD), ensuring an inclusive and accessible exam experience for all.
The examination dates for other major NTA-administered exams, including NEET UG, CUET UG, and UGC NET 2025, are still awaited. Once announced, these dates will be published in the comprehensive NTA exam calendar, which can be accessed at https://nta.ac.in.
For JEE Mains 2025, the format has undergone some changes. The exam will consist of 75 questions in total—25 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics—without any optional questions. This marks a shift from previous years, where candidates had the option to choose between questions. The exam will be of a total of 300 marks, with each section contributing 100 marks.
For reference, last year, the NTA released the official exam calendar on September 19, 2023, and it is expected that a similar timeline will be followed this year. Keep an eye on the official websites for updates on exam dates, registration periods, and other essential details related to JEE Mains, NEET, and CUET exams.
