Woman’s Body Found in Suitcase on Delhi-Lucknow Highway: Police Investigate

Hapur, Uttar Pradesh: A grim discovery unfolded on the service road of the Delhi-Lucknow Highway in Hapur district when a woman’s body was found inside a red suitcase. Commuters driving by noticed the suspicious suitcase and immediately alerted the authorities.

Upon opening the suitcase, the police found the body of a woman, believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, with multiple signs of physical trauma. Preliminary investigations indicate that she may have died roughly a day before the suitcase was discovered, according to ASP Vineet Bhatnagar.

Local police, along with a forensic team, swiftly secured the scene and began collecting evidence. A few pieces of clothing were found inside the suitcase and are now being analyzed to help identify the victim or uncover any potential clues about the perpetrator.

In an effort to solve the case, the police have launched an extensive investigation, which includes reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to reconstruct the events leading to the woman’s death. Authorities remain optimistic that more details will come to light as the investigation progresses.
