Woman’s Body Found in Suitcase on Delhi-Lucknow Highway: Police Investigate

Hapur, Uttar Pradesh: A red suitcase containing the body of a woman was discovered abandoned on the service road of the Delhi-Lucknow Highway in Hapur district today. Commuters spotted the suitcase and alerted the police.

Upon opening the suitcase, police found the body of a woman, believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, bearing multiple injury marks. The injuries suggest she may have died approximately a day before her body was discovered, according to ASP Vineet Bhatnagar.

A police team, accompanied by forensic experts, quickly secured the scene and began their investigation. The suitcase also contained a few articles of clothing, which are being examined for potential clues.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area to piece together the events leading to the woman’s death. Further details are awaited.
