Chhattisgarh’s Anti-Naxal Efforts
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai recently met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi to discuss ongoing efforts to combat Maoist insurgency in the state.
The CM emphasized that the government and security forces are steadfast in their commitment to eliminating Naxal influence. He highlighted significant progress, including the neutralization of nearly 200 Maoists and the surrender of 600-700 insurgents in the past 11 months.
“We are working towards achieving the Union Home Minister’s goal of a Naxal-free India by 2026,” CM Sai stated.
The ongoing operations underscore the government’s focus on restoring peace and promoting development in Naxal-affected regions.
