Andhra Pradesh Woman Receives Parcel Containing Corpse and Ransom Letter

In a spine-chilling incident from Andhra Pradesh’s West Godavari district, a woman received a parcel late on Thursday night, only to uncover the body of an unidentified man along with a ransom letter inside.

The unsettling event occurred in Yendagandi village, situated in the Undi mandal of the district, leaving the community in shock and disbelief.

The Sequence of Events

The woman, Naga Tulsi, had earlier approached the Kshatriya Seva Samithi seeking monetary aid for constructing her home. In response to her plea, the organization had initially sent her tiles as assistance for her project.

Following this, Tulsi filed another request with the organization, asking for further help with her house construction. The Samithi reportedly assured her of sending electrical appliances, including lights, fans, and switches.

Shortly afterward, Tulsi received a WhatsApp message stating that these items would soon be dispatched to her. On Thursday evening, a parcel arrived at her residence, with the delivery agent claiming it contained the promised appliances.

However, upon opening the package, Tulsi was horrified to discover a corpse instead of the anticipated items.

Immediate Police Action

Disturbed by the shocking revelation, Tulsi’s family immediately alerted the police. Authorities promptly arrived at the scene and moved the body to a government hospital for post-mortem analysis.

Initial investigations revealed that the deceased was a man around 45 years old, with the post-mortem suggesting he had died four to five days prior.

District Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi visited the site to supervise the inquiry into this disturbing case.

The Ransom Letter

Alongside the body, Tulsi also discovered a ransom letter in the parcel. The letter demanded ₹1.3 crore from her family and issued severe threats if the demand was not met.

Ongoing Investigation

Police are working tirelessly to trace the origin of the parcel and identify the delivery person. Representatives of the Kshatriya Seva Samithi have been summoned for questioning as part of the investigation.

Additionally, authorities are combing through missing persons’ records from nearby regions to establish the identity of the deceased.

The chilling incident has left residents of Yendagandi village in fear as investigators delve deeper into uncovering the perpetrators behind this horrific act.
