India Makes Historic Presence at World Economic Forum with Largest-Ever Contingent

MUMBAI: India has made its largest-ever appearance at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, with a high-profile delegation that includes Union ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw, CR Patil, D Kumarswamy, Chirag Paswan, and Jayant Chaudhary. Along with them, the chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana, along with senior ministers from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh, are representing India at the global summit.

The chief ministers attending the summit include Andhra Pradesh’s Chandrababu Naidu, Maharashtra’s Devendra Fadnavis, and Telangana’s Revanth Reddy, while other states are represented by their industry ministers and top officials. This year’s summit, which began on January 20, marks the first-ever occasion when all state pavilions were aligned with the India Pavilion, and joint press conferences were held to present a unified front.

According to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the concept of ‘One Team India’ and a single unified India Pavilion was inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This initiative reflects India’s growing influence and collaborative approach on the global stage.
